Samsung currently develops several new tablets. There has been talk about a Galaxy Tab S4 (SM-T835), a Galaxy Tab A2 XL (SM-T590 / SM-T595) and a Galaxy Tab Advanced2 (SM-T580). Today we bring news about one of these new Android tablets; the Tab Advanced 2.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Advanced 2 specifications
The manual of the unannounced Galaxy Tab Advanced 2 has surfaced on the internet. Our friends over at Mobiel Kopen found the Korean manual with some illustrations and specs of the device.
The Android tablet from Samsung will be driven by the Exynos 7870 processor. This SoC is also used by its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 and several Samsung smartphones, like the recently launched Galaxy J6 and Galaxy A6. The manual does not reveal the screen size of the tablet, however it is stated the display will have a WUXGA (1920×1200 pixels) resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Advanced2 runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The tablet comes with the Bixby assistant and the Dolby Atmos surround sound system. In addition, it supports Bluetooth 4.2 and microSD memory cards.
The 2018 tablet model lacks a physical home button. The volume and power button are both located on the top side of the device. The front-camera comes with a LED flash. The Live Sticker feature will also be integrated to enhance your selfies. In addition, a Beauty and Pro modus will be included to take even better selfie shots.
The rear camera features autofocus, HDR and a panorama modus. Regretfully the manual does not give any insight about the number of megapixels nor does it reveal any details regarding the memory capacity.
Charging can be done through the USB-Type-C connection. The Tab Advanced 2 weight 525 grams and has the following dimensions; 250.4 x 166.2 x 8.5 mm.
Release date
