The Russian brand Caviar has announced three Limited Edition phones within the ‘Pair of Kings collection’. The company is known for enriching existing high-end smartphones with premium materials, for which the latest iPhone models are often used. This time, the iPhone 13 Pro (Max) was chosen, with the design being themed by the three best-known brands within the watch industry.
The new iPhone 13 Pro collection from Caviar is dedicated to Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin – collectively known as the ‘Holy trinity of watches’. The watches of these three Swiss watchmakers are known as the most luxurious and complex in the world.
Caviar has enriched the back panel of the smartphone with sustainable and luxurious materials. All three models create the illusion that you are looking at a watch case with a watch strap. Each model is dedicated to a different watch brand.
iPhone 13 Pro Nautilus dedicated to Swiss watch brand Patek Philippe
The first model is inspired by Patek Philippe, a Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches. This model features a blue porthole dial with signature guilloché at the top and a steel bracelet at the bottom.
The designers at Caviar have been inspired by the famous Patek Philippe watch named after Captain Nemo’s submarine, the Nautilus (ref.5711). Hence the matching name ‘iPhone 13 Pro Nautilus’.
To realize this model, Caviar used miniature titanium inserts with jewelry enamel. Caviar will release a total of 99 units of this phone. A unique number is engraved on the side of the device. A certificate of authenticity is also included.
The price of the iPhone 13 Pro with Patek Philippe watch design is set at $6,750 USD (128GB). The iPhone 13 Pro Max variant starts at $7,290 (128GB).
iPhone Limited Edition inspired by Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch
Audemars Piguet is also a Swiss watch brand, specialized in making very expensive and technically advanced watches. The Royal Oak is Audemars Piguet’s best known and most popular model. Its introduction in 1972 turned the watch world upside down, this striking stainless steel watch was just as expensive as a classic gold watch. Just like the Patek Philippe Nautilus, this watch is designed by the Swiss Gerald Genta.
The smartphone is decorated with an octagonal bezel in the shape of a submariner’s helmet. The design is completed by a titanium strap pattern, characteristic of Audemars Piguet watches. This Limited Edition phone also comes with titanium inserts with micro-grooves filled with jewelry enamel.
Caviar will produce 99 copies of this model. The iPhone 13 Pro Royal Oak is priced at $6,600 for the 128GB model. In addition, you can choose 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. This phone design is also available with the iPhone 13 Pro Max as a base, for this larger model you pay $ 7,140 (128GB).
iPhone 13 Pro inspired by Vacheron Constantin Overseas collection
Vacheron Constantin is the oldest watch brand. The luxury watches from this Swiss manufacturer are among the most exclusive on the market. The Overseas collection consists of luxury sports watches, the design of which is inspired by the Patek Philippe Nautilus and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and designed by Vincent Kaufmann.
The Overseas model is Caviar’s top model within the Pair of Kings collection. Like the original watch, the iPhone 13 Pro Overseas is adorned with genuine 18k gold. All the iconic elements of the original watch can also be found in the body of the phone. Including the Maltese cross, the decorative date indicator and the cross-links of the bracelet.
The most exclusive model in Caviar’s collection is released in a Limited Edition of only 7 pieces. The iPhone 13 Pro Overseas price is set at $52,000 (128GB). For the iPhone 13 Pro Max with 128GB you pay $ 57,380. A lot of money, although this Limited Edition smartphone is similar priced as a real Vacheron Constantin Overseas (ref. 4500V/110R-B705) – that watch sells for $ 54.500.
