Samsung Galaxy Note 9 benchmark

The Galaxy Note 9 appeared in the Geekbench again, this time the smartphone was tested with the Exynos 9810 processor.

Back in May 2018, a benchmark showed up for the Samsung SM-N960N, in other words the Galaxy Note 9. Today a new benchmark test was spotted, again with the Exynos 9810 processor, but with significantly different scores.

Our Dutch friends over at Mobiel Kopen found a new benchmark of the Note 9. There are not much surprises in terms of specs. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 and is powered by the Exynos 9810 processor with 6GB of RAM. What does deviate are the single-core and mutli-core scores.

In single-core the Galaxy Note 9 reaches a test score of 3716, in multi-core 8984. The last benchmark showed a single-core score of 2737 and a multi-core score of 9064. The new scores show an improved performance in single-core and a little less in multi-core. These figures also correspond better to the Galaxy S9+, which reached a Geekbench score of 3773 in single-core and 9024 in multi-core.

As always, the premium device will be available with two different processors, depending on the region. The Samsung Exynos 9810 is likely to be used in the USA and China, while the European models will be driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

Back in March 2018 the SM-N960U already appeared in the Geekbench with a Snapdragon 845 processor. At that time, the smartphone reached a single-core score of 2190 and a multi-core score of 8806. Especially the performance in single-core seems to be much better with the Exynos 9810 processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked 2018 event in New York on August 9 2018.
